Is the largest protected area under the National Integrated Protected Area System Act due to mangrove forests of Siargao. It is the second largest in Mindanao Approximately 4,000 ha. of contiguous mangrove stand in Del Carmen. Out of 54 mangrove species worldwide, 44 can be found in Del Carmen.
